Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Logfare Chat website at chat.logfare.ai (the "Service") — whether as an anonymous visitor or with a registered account — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Logorhythms ("we", "us", "our").
Logfare Chat and the Logfare inference API (logfare.ai) are both operated by Logorhythms. Where these Terms refer to shared practices, we link to the corresponding section of the Logfare API policy.
2. Description of Service & Access Tiers
Logfare Chat is a web-based chat interface that proxies your messages to large language model (LLM) providers and returns their responses. The Service is offered in three access tiers, each with a distinct data-handling posture. The tier determines which models you can use and whether anonymized derivatives of your content may ever be included in third-party datasets.
- Tier A — Anonymous: Use the Service without any account. Free-tier models only. Your conversations live only in the browser session and on our servers keyed to a session cookie. Data from anonymous sessions is never sold or licensed, regardless of any other setting or flag. See Privacy Policy §4.
- Tier B — Account, no data-sharing consent (default for accounts): Create an account to sync conversations across devices. Free-tier models only. Your content is still excluded from sale. You can delete individual conversations or your whole account at any time.
- Tier C — Account with Financial Incentive Program opt-in: Unlocks Premium models (larger / newer frontier models). In exchange, best-effort anonymized derivatives of your request and response content may be included in datasets we sell or license, subject to the field exclusions and anonymization commitments in Privacy §3a and the Financial Incentive Program terms in Privacy §3b. Opting in is free, reversible at any time from Settings → Privacy, and never reduces your access to free-tier service.
A per-request override is available: callers may include selling_consent: true or selling_consent: false in the request body to opt an individual message in or
out of the program, regardless of the account-level setting. The true override is
only honored for logged-in accounts — anonymous sessions cannot self-upgrade to the selling
tier, because we have no way to honor your downstream rights (deletion, opt-out, rectification)
without an account to tie them to.
3. Eligibility
The Service is available only to individuals aged 18 or older, or aged 16 or older in the European Economic Area with verifiable parental consent. By using the Service — anonymously or with an account — you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We confirm this at account creation via a required self-attestation checkbox; anonymous users attest by continuing past the first-use banner. If we become aware that a user does not meet these requirements, we will terminate the session or account and delete associated data. See Privacy §7.
4. Accounts (Optional)
You may create an account to sync conversations across devices, manage the Financial Incentive Program setting, and access Premium-tier models. Account creation requires a username, password, age confirmation, and ToS/Privacy acceptance — we record the acceptance timestamp, ToS version, and originating IP at registration. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Conversations linked to an account are persisted by default. You can delete any individual conversation from the sidebar, enable an auto-deletion window in Settings → Privacy, or delete your entire account — which deletes all linked conversations — at any time.
5. No Uptime Guarantees
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding:
- Uptime, availability, or reliability of the Service
- The accuracy, quality, or suitability of model outputs
- Continued availability of any specific model
- Response times, latency, or data integrity
The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, without prior notice.
6. Data Collection and Usage
By using the Service you acknowledge and consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy. Summary:
- Every message is logged for service operation, security, and abuse mitigation. IP addresses, User-Agent strings, HTTP headers, and account identifiers are retained for at most 90 days for security / abuse purposes and are never included in any dataset we sell or license, regardless of consent.
- If — and only if — you are a Tier C user (account + Financial Incentive opt-in), best-effort anonymized derivatives of your request and response content may be included in datasets we sell or license to third parties. See Privacy §3a.
- You may opt out of data sale at any time via Settings → Privacy. Opt-out applies going forward; data already distributed in third-party datasets cannot be recalled.
- You can request a copy of your data (account export), deletion of your account, or correction of account information at any time — see Privacy §5.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate, transmit, or facilitate any content that is illegal under applicable law
- Harass, threaten, or harm any individual or group
- Generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content exploiting minors
- Submit personal information about third parties without their consent — for example, another person's email, phone number, home address, medical record, private messages, or photograph
- Submit credentials, API keys, secrets, or sensitive authentication data
- Submit information regulated under HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, PCI-DSS, or equivalent regimes in your jurisdiction
- Submit GDPR Article 9 special-category data — including data concerning health, sex life or sexual orientation, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, racial or ethnic origin, biometric data used to identify you, or genetic data. This applies to your own data as well as data about others. If you need to discuss these topics, talk to a qualified professional, not a chatbot.
- Mass-generate spam, scam, or phishing content
- Generate content optimizing for self-harm, suicide methods, or harm to others. If you are in crisis, please contact a local helpline — in the US, call or text 988; in the UK, Samaritans at 116 123; in Australia, Lifeline at 13 11 14
- Impersonate individuals or organizations
- Use automated or bot traffic without prior written disclosure
- Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or attempt to access internal systems
You are solely responsible for content you submit. Submitting content that violates this section may result in immediate session or account termination, and you indemnify us against any resulting claims (see §10).
8. Fair Use
We do not impose hard rate limits, but fair use applies. Excessive, abusive, or automated traffic that degrades the Service for other users may result in throttling, temporary blocks, or permanent session/account termination at our sole discretion.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate any session or account, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without prior notice. This is a free service — we owe you nothing. You may delete your account from Settings → Privacy at any time; account deletion triggers the process described in Privacy §4.
10. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Logorhythms and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Logorhythms from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of content prohibited under §7.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes — for example, expanding the categories of data eligible for sale, or changing the Financial Incentive Program structure — we will provide reasonable advance notice in-product and, for account holders, by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes will be resolved in Wyoming state or federal courts, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction provide otherwise (for example, CCPA small-claims rights for California consumers, or the Australian Consumer Law and Privacy Act 1988 for Australian consumers).
13. Severability
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
14. Contact
For questions regarding these Terms, contact [email protected] or reach out via the Logorhythms Discord.
